METÓPĂ
noun, feminine (Architecture) — A space between the triglyphs of a Doric frieze, traditionally filled with a plain or ornamented stone panel, bearing painted or sculpted decoration.
Trained as an architect, photography has become for me a way of reading the built environment — a form of observation, analysis, and visual documentation of the places I have encountered.
Studio Metopa is the expression of my photographic practice over the past ten years and the professional framework in which architecture and photography converge. Through images that complement the architectural discourse, I seek to capture and highlight the identity of each space.
